There are two lamps according to The Living Word.

The One we are to ‘burn with’ is THE HOLY SEVENFOLD RUACH OF CHESED AND EMET.

The other is the ‘lamp of the wicked’:

Now, let us consider the elements:  The Lamp and The Light.

Proverbs 6:23 -– For the commandment is a lamp and the Torah is light; And The Way of Life is the firm hand of musar.

Proverbs 6:23 -– כִּ֤י נֵ֣ר מִ֭צְוָה וְתֹ֣ורָה אֹ֑ור וְדֶ֥רֶךְ חַ֝יִּ֗ים תֹּוכְחֹ֥ות מוּסָֽר׃

The lamp itself isn’t the LIGHT, but it is surely THE CONTAINER OF THE LIGHT.

So, too, as we watch over and accomplish The Commandments of our Father, we GIVE (the) LIGHT (of The Spirit’s Torah) to ourselves, and most importantly to those around us.

‘Watching over’ your own lamp is of utmost importance as you must become aware of WHICH LAMP you are, in order to avoid being deceived.

Being taught by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2) means we ‘LEARN TO DISCERN THE BURN’. Which lamp are you: DIVINE FIRE or strange fire?

Proverbs 6:20 -– My son, observe the commandment of your father And do not forsake the Torah of your mother;

Proverbs 6:20 -– נְצֹ֣ר בְּ֭נִי מִצְוַ֣ת אָבִ֑יךָ וְאַל־תִּ֝טֹּ֗שׁ תֹּורַ֥ת אִמֶּֽךָ׃

Our Chosen Behaviors TESTIFY to what we are in agreement with (have faith in).  It is all the evidence you need to understand which Lamp you have married your ‘fire’ to.  Discern the burn.  What do you contain, Ezer Kenegdo?
