I Love P.M.S.!
The Hebrew word Merea describes who we are as Sisters in the family of the LORD (nurturers of one another) as well as lending insight as to what our role is in the Body of the Messiah. Merea means ‘trusted friend and companion’. Merea is taken from the root word ra’ah meaning ‘to tend a flock, nurture, and feed’.
Additionally, a healthy mishpachah (family) cares for, tends and nurtures one another into ‘good and Godly choices’. Without the love, prayers, guidance, wisdom, and admonition (Greek nouthesia – to put into ones’ mind) of a Godly Merea encouraging us to ‘choose God’s BEST’, we often lack the motivation to make right choices in life.
Receiving ‘mereaship’ into one’s life, then, is to experience wisdom without pain. And no one can fulfill both the duties and delights of a ‘Merea’ without building healthy, vibrant and trustworthy relationships with other women for the sole purpose of ‘not blaspheming and exposing the Word of God to reproach of any sort’ (Titus 2:5).
What are the Benefits of Intercessory Prayer?
They CONTINUED FAITHFULLY (Devotedly Persevered) in:
1.) Teaching of the emissaries – A DILIGENT STUDY OF HIS WORD
2.) Fellowship – A DETERMINED & ACTIVE LOVE OF HIS CHILDREN
3.) Breaking of bread – A DAILY REMEMBRANCE OF HIS SACRIFICE
4.) Prayers – A DEVOTED ABIDING IN HIS PRESENCE
Why I Love P.M.S.!
This is a safe place for you to share your praises, requests and encourage one another in the LORD. Even Paul, bound in chains, was increasingly confident and comforted by the prayers of the faithful saints as he proclaimed, “Yes, and I will continue to rejoice for I know that this will work out for my deliverance, because of your prayers and the support I get from the Spirit of Yeshua the Messiah.” (Philippians 1:18,19)
In the book of Job, it is recorded that “the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends” (Job 42:10).
What moves the heart of God ought to move our Mereas’ hearts as well…people. As we consider the lives of others, let us join ourselves in steadfast prayer for one another and thus welcome the opportunity to come once again to the Throne room of our Great God through His Son Yeshua, the Messiah.
Sha’alu Shalom Yerushalayim! (Pray for the Peace of Jersusalem)
Please leave your praises, requests and/or words of encouragement here for all to intercede; Or feel free to email me directly.
