The Invitation
The kind of transformative change we all truly desire in our lifetime will not come without THE SHEMA OF SURRENDERING in the Face/Voice of ADONAI Eloheinu.
Practically, this DAILY ACTION requires FIRST HEARING THE VOICE OF HASHEM given by His Ruach of Emet followed by the ‘no-excuse game’ of CONSISTENCY in daily salvific restoration of
- Rising up
- Picking up one’s mat
- Walking in/walking out The Healing/ Directive Commandments
This is our RESPONSE TO LIGHT/VOICE.
This alteration of one’s life follows closely on the heels of the altercation with one’s own nephesh (soul).
Consider this exchange of Yeshua our Messiah and the paralytic of 38 years in John 5:
5 After this, there was a Judean festival; and Yeshua went up to Yerushalayim. 2 In Yerushalayim, by the Sheep Gate, is a pool called in Aramaic, Beit-Zata, 3 in which lay a crowd of invalids — blind, lame, crippled. 4 [a] 5 One man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. 6 Yeshua, seeing this man and knowing that he had been there a long time, said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” 7 The sick man answered, “I have no one to put me in the pool when the water is disturbed; and while I’m trying to get there, someone goes in ahead of me.” 8 Yeshua said to him, “Get up, pick up your mat and walk!” 9 Immediately the man was healed, and he picked up his mat and walked.
Now that day was Shabbat,
There was first a QUESTION, then an INVITATION in the form of INSTRUCTION.
Also please consider the teaching of the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years who wasn’t healed though she spent much time and money ‘suffering a great deal under many physicians’ (accounts in Matthew 9, Mark 5, and Luke 8):
As he went, with the crowds on every side virtually choking him, 43 a woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone, 44 came up behind him and touched the tzitzit on his robe; instantly her hemorrhaging stopped. 45 Yeshua asked, “Who touched me?” When they all denied doing it, Kefa said, “Rabbi! The crowds are hemming you in and jostling you!” 46 But Yeshua said, “Someone did touch me, because I felt power go out of me.” 47 Seeing she could not escape notice, the woman, quaking with fear, threw herself down before him and confessed in front of everyone why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 He said to her, “My daughter, your trust has saved you; go in peace.”
The blue fringes ’tzitzit’ of his robe are the Jewish male’s reminder, commandment, as well as invitation to THE DIVINE COMMANDMENTS that have LIGHT and imbued with Power to RESTORE ORDER to the entirety of one’s soul.
IS IT THE WORD ALONE THAT MAKES us WHOLE? Or is it the WORD + our AGREEMENT that restores the soul?
You already know. Now, ACT.
Blessed are YOU, ADONAI, Who gives us the new moon, the sign of being born from above and continual renewal. Blessed are YOU, ADONAI Who renews His mercies every morning and gives us countless opportunities to repent and start fresh. May the ancient light of the moons face never cease from reminding us of Your truth, Your love, and Your saving grace.
The Creator of Heaven and earth offers us the gentle healing of wholeness every day – in every sunrise, in every sunset…’The Heavens communicate the glory (Character!) of G-D, and their expanse announces the work of His Hands’. (Psalm 19:1)
There is a WORD OF REFRESHING (fresh word) every day…

The shema has been the divine reminder of my commitment to the divine…I understand the tradition to recite in the morning and each night…it aligns with the daily reset the sun and moon provide us too.
